i made it through tour, got home, did nothing, went on tour again.
got home, two weeks later had the baby.

life comes at you fast.

i have nothing to show for anything that i have done in this past 9 months.

i need to keep my head up.

got a job.
got a new tattoo.
got a new apt. in the works.

last nights show was fun.
american black lung was awesome.
we had a fun set.

i was thinking about it and what i said was wrong.
it was just three black people. not the entire race.
i have a lot of black friends. and what i said was wrong.
so my apologies. i was just really heated at the moment and was trying to vent.

all i was saying is that its messed up that they would come up to my front door and barge in, beat the shit out of my friends and steal shit, and if my girlfriend and i and our other roomates would have been there there is no telling what would have happened.

so my apologies.

yesterday...
i woke up at 5:30 in the morning. i met up with know the score at like 6 in the morning at the mall. they followed me back to my house and we hung out there until about 12. we played guitar hero all day. then we went to skylars house so they could practice. after that they went to eat at cici's and i took a shower at my house. after that ben came over and we went to the mall and we met up with kids like us. we took them to the skatepark and i skated with lars and their other guitar player. lars was ripping it up. then i took them to my house and we got my bass. then we went to the show.

the show was amazing. 100 kids were there. i ended up getting ten dollars after i paid all the stuff off.

a few things i need to get off my chest.

1. i do beleive in god. im not a christian, im not an aethiest, im not agnostic. i know for a fact when i look outside that there is something up there. there is no way all this shit was just put on earth by itself. i dont like it when people push their beleifs on me. i dont push mine on you so mind your own business. being a christian means you are supposed to be christ like.

2. straight edge is a personal choice. who gives a flying fuck if someone breaks edge? its a PERSONAL choice. im still straight edge, i have my set of morals that i live by. dont judge me if mine are different from yours. its not supposed to be a contest to see who can stay edge the longest or who can get the most tattoos of xxx or edge or some bullshit like that. do it for yourself. thats what its for.

3. stop giving people shit about what music they listen to. or what they look like. stop telling me to get a fucking hair cut. im going to look how i want to look. i can listen to what music i want to. yes, hardcore is my favorite genre of music, but that doesent mean i have to listen to it all the fucking time and dress like a hardcore kid. or buzz my head. stop telling me a band sucks. you have your own opinion, that doesn't mean that its right. because its probably not right.

i upset my girlfriend way too much and it kills me. i just really cant do anything right at all.
but i did have a good christmas.
my family is actually getting along.
although its really boring over here at my moms boyfriends moms house.

ok, so i had just got home from madison alabama because we had played a show out there with die young and legion. so i get home and drew is still up and he was thirsty and so was i and there wasnt anything to drink at the apt. so we decide to go get a drink from todds grocery store. as soon as i pulled out of the apt. a cop went by and turned around immediately and pulled up behind us. he pulled me over and asked for my license and insurance. i gave him both, my insurance was expired. i asked him why he pulled me over, and he said because "my tags were out." there is no possible way that he could see my tags when he is just passing by me in the other lane going the opposite direction that i was. so after 30 minutes pass im still at todds grocery and he still has us pulled over. so he comes back to my window and says "please step out of the car." and he told me to put my hands on the window so i did and he started searching me asking if i had any weapons or drugs on me. and i told him no, so he says "put your hands behind your back." the motherfucker puts me in handcuffs telling me that i am under arrest, because i had a warrant out for my arrest. and i asked for what, and he said because i had an un-paid fine.

come to find out, i had a charge of malicious mischief that i wasnt told about by the tupelo police department. i had to spend two fucking hours in a jail cell. luckily i knew a few of the people in there. but i was the only white dude in there hahahaha. it was an experience.

my mom hired a lawyer. and we are fighting this shit.

today is my 20th birthday.
not sure how i feel about this.
it just means that i am getting older.
its part of life i know. but it fucking sucks.
i love my friends and i love my girlfriend.
this is for real the last post on this thing.

so this will probably be my last post on this thing.

tomorrow im going to Birmingham for the first time since ceremony. i cant wait to see all of my friends there. overdose is playing there.

um.... i leave to go on tour in november. we are going all the way out to california. if i can even go. hopefully ill be getting a job so i can pay back my friends and fix my car and buy my own bass rig. but either way it should be fun. if i stay i would get to see my friends in mcmb and wbcc and a5a. and i would get to see my girlfriend every day. so i couldnt complain.. but then again, its california. how often do you get to go there? haha. if your me, not often at all.

anyway. im going to go, because i hate the internet.
